Faith's youth will have a swim party on Sunday, May 20 at 4:30pm at the home of Mike and Laura Davis in honor of the graduating Seniors.

Chad Seagle has graduated from seminary and will be arriving soon to begin his work at Faith's new full-time youth director. 

Faith is grateful to Dana Willenborg for serving for the past nine months as Faith's interim youth director.

Sherry Kanteveric, Faith's intern, will be taking on many of Faith's administrative responsibilities over the summer, allowing Jennifer Rader to focus more on Connecting Ministries.

In addition, Steve Pollard is joining Faith's staff in a volunteer capacity as Business Manager. 

Steve will work with Faith's treasure, Ursula Correll, and Faith's bookkeeping service to help manage Faith's financial and operating ministries.

E3 is a new ministry at Faith that seeks to enrich, encourage, and elevate women in their relationship to God and each other. They are meeting this Saturday, May 19 at 10am for brunch.

Dear Fellow Followers of Jesus,

We are delighted to invite you to join us for a life-changing trip to walk where Jesus walked. We will visit places we have only read about in the Bible. Imagine this! Touch the waters of the Jordan River, pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, cross the Sea of Galilee and walk the streets of Jerusalem.

As we travel together we will worship, we will learn and we will add a new dimension to our ongoing pilgrimage as followers of Jesus. 

Our visit to the land of the Savior will renew us in spirit and equip us for a deeper understanding of God's word and greater appreciation for the life, ministry and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus.

We have high expectations for what God will do in every life through this experience. We hope that you will prayerfully plan to join us for this journey of a lifetime.

On Sunday, May 20 at 2pm, Faith UMC is hosting the North Central District Conference for over 300 clergy and lay members of the North Texas Annual Conference.

We want to show our guests what our commitment to hospitality looks like.

There will be an All Church Picnic, Sunday May 6 from 5-7pm at the outdoor stage at Faith UMC!

Come and join us for what will surely be an amazing evening; complete with Live Music, Good Food and Great Fellowship! Our own band and praise chorus will play music from the outdoor stage.

Faith UMC will provide hamburgers and hot dogs, but everyone should bring something they'd like to share. Guests should also bring their own drinks (church policy requests that no alcoholic beverages may be brought on the property).

Very limited seating will be set up, so it may be beneficial to bring blankets or chairs! Bring frisbees, balls, washers, etc. to play.

So come celebrate friends and family with us on May 6th with a Picnic under the stars!

Rev. Don Kirsch will be holding an informational meeting for anyone who may be interested in a trip to the Holy Land in the spring of 2013. This meeting will be right after worship on Sunday, April 29.

Don't worry if you won't be able to attend!  This meeting is only the FIRST of several opportunities to learn about and 'opt in' for this trip!

Encourage, Enrich, Elevate (E3) is a new opportunity for women at Faith. This is a monthly gathering for women to encourage each other, enrich their lives, and elevate their minds and spirits.

The first gathering is Saturday, April 21 from 10am-12pm. The topic will be health and wellness. Dress comfortably! Childcare is a available for a nominal fee.
