About Faith United Methodist Church

Faith United Methodist Church was conceived in 2002 when the people of Trietsch Memorial UMC in Flower Mound partnered with the North Texas Conference to plant a new faith community in the Corinth area. Rev. John McLarty was sent to Trietsch to begin this work and he was joined by dozens of families who stepped up to plant our congregation.

Faith's first worship experience was held at Crownover Middle School on September 7, 2003. In late 2006, the church purchased 10 acres of land at 6060 Teasley Lane, then moved its worship experiences to Guyer High School in March 2007. Faith completed its first building in March 2012.

Faith has developed a reputation in the community for being a church without walls. From our commitment to reaching the disconnected to serving the poor of our community and our world, we strive to represent the presence of Christ to everyone around us. Faith is also known for our creative approach to facing challenges and our persistence in staying faithful to the calling we believe we have to connect people to God and each other through the love of Jesus Christ.
