Adult Groups

Supper Clubs

We want to make it easier for people to get and stay connected, and live out the Rhythm of Discipleship.

A Supper Club comprises 10-12 people who agree to get together for a meal once a month.

Each group will have its own personality.

The monthly meal might take place in someone’s home, or at a park, or in a restaurant — include kids, or not — whatever works for the group.

If you have questions, or are interested in being part of a supper club, email Jennifer at [email protected].

The Alpha Course – Tuesdays at 6:30 pm

What has happened to civilized discussion in our culture? Is it even possible to talk about faith and religion from differing points of view?

The answer is ‘yes’ — it is possible. That’s what Alpha is all about. Alpha is a series of 10 sessions, each looking at a different question around faith and each designed to create conversation.

Each Alpha session starts with dinner. Then everyone watches a short video. And then, over dessert, there is small group discussion — where all opinions are valid and all participants are respected.
Alpha is free. Dinner is free. Even childcare is free — if you make a reservation in advance. (To make a childcare reservation, email Jeni.
Interested? Alpha will meet on Tuesday nights at 6:30, starting January 30, 2018.
To register, or request more info, email Jennifer.

Women of the Word (WOW) – Wednesdays 9:30 am in Room 137

Women of the Word is open to women of all ages and stages of life and spiritual maturity.

In January WOW began a study by Jennie Allen: CHASE – chasing after the heart of God. This study focuses on the life of David, a man after God’s own heart. “We’re all chasing after something, something that we think will make us happy – comfort, success, a bigger house, or someone’s approval. But if we are all honest, it feels like trying to catch the wind.”

Women of the Word

Sisters of the Spirit (SOS) – Wednesdays 7:00 pm in Room 137

Sisters of the Spirit is also open to women of all ages and stages of life and spiritual maturity.

In January, SOS began a study: Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer. Is the ability to hear God’s voice only for people who lived in Biblical times? Not at all! The God who loved you enough to die for you loves you enough to talk to you. Wherever you are in your spiritual walk, God will find a way to speak to you in a way you will understand.
