Merry Christmas (slump)!

Make the Chaos of Life More Manageable

If you’re like me and my family, you’ve officially hit the post-Christmas slump. We’ve had all the Christmas dinners, family celebrations in three cities, and have found places for almost all the new gadgets and toys. Now that the waiting and the bustle of travel is over, it’s the low, tired time when we realize how hard we worked to get ready for all this. It’s almost like there is a collective sigh around the community and people ask “What now?”

If you’re like me and my family, you still want the good ole family time, but with less chaos. Sitting still is at a premium, and quiet is like gold.

If you’re like me and my family, you’ll want to be with us for some fun family time at our game night tonight at the church (more info below!) and for worship on Sunday. We will have an interactive message time, geared specifically at multi-generational fun and hands-on learning and prayer. I hope you’ll join us!

As I sit in the quiet up here at the church today, I am incredibly grateful for the people who fill the chairs in our worship center and for all the people I know God is preparing to send our way. Thank you for all you do to make our church family the home that it is for so many. If you’re like me and my family, having a church home makes all the chaos of life more manageable.

Wishing you and yours all the love and grace of God this holiday season. Merry Christmas (slump)!

Your Pastor and Friend in Christ,

Jenna
