adult MINISTRIES

Several folks in our Faith family have started an adult small group on Sunday mornings at 9:15am before worship. If you're interested in getting involved, all that's required is your presence!

For more information, contact Ron Farrington by emailing ronf3dachdad@gmail.com.

Book club is as much about quality time as it is book discussion. Book Club meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7pm over Zoom.

To know the book of the month, contact Barbara Cain at barbara.w.cain@gmail.com.
For the Zoom link, contact Stacy Sorrells at stacysorrells22@gmail.com.

The Women of the Word will begin a new study on the book "Angels: Finding Hope in God Who Reigns over Heaven and Earth" by Melissa Spoelstra on October 28 in the Worship Space from 9:30-11:00am.

In this 8-session Bible study, we will join Melissa Spoelstra as she traverses the terrain of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation to learn about angels—who they are, what they do, and what they have to do with you. There's no reason to fear or ignore what's happening in the supernatural, unseen realm—we can live with confidence that God is in control of it all. Angels is a call to put your hope in the God of angel armies who reigns over heaven and earth.

All ladies of the church are invited; come and experience the love of Christ through study and the fellowship of other women seeking to know God better. For more information, contact Sandy Farrington at sandyf3dachmom@gmail.com.

Pastor Stefani will lead a bible study on the book "Moses: In the Footsteps of the Reluctant Prophet" by Adam Hamilton. Join Adam Hamilton as he travels from Egypt to Mt. Sinai, the Nile, the Red Sea and the wilderness exploring the sites of Moses' life. Using historical information, archaeological data, and biblical text, Hamilton guides us in the footsteps of this reluctant prophet who grew in his relationship with God and by the end of life had successfully fulfilled the role he was given.

Register for the study here.

Join our men's ministry, Men of Faith, for fellowship and bible study! On the third Saturday of the month, they meet at 8:30am at Sidewalk Cafe in Denton. All other Saturdays are at 9:00am on Zoom.

For more information, contact Dan Rodgers at drodg327@gmail.com.

Coffee with the Pastor is an informal time for Pastor Stefani to get to know you in a small group setting. She will share a little bit about herself and this congregation, but she mainly wants to get to know you and your family.

Pastor Stefani will make herself available to answer any questions you may have about the Methodist Church, specific ministries here at Faith, or anything that would help you learn who we are as a congregation. We want you to feel at home here! For more information, email stefani@tryfaith.org.

Financial Peace University (FPU) is a 9-week course on money created by Dave Ramsey. Dave will walk you through how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, plan for the future, give like never before, and much more!

Ron Farrington facilitates FPU at the church periodically. Check back for the next date or reach out to Ron at ronf3dachdad@gmail.com for more information.
