meet the PASTOR

Rev. Stefani Reed-Meyer is originally from Waxahachie, TX. She attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Religious Studies in 2011. Stefani received her Master of Divinity from SMU’s Perkins School of Theology in 2014 and was ordained as an elder in the UMC in 2017.

 

Stefani has served as a summer camp counselor at Glen Lake Methodist Camp, as a hospital chaplain at Methodist Charlton, in children’s ministry at St. Andrew UMC, and as a pastoral intern at Euless FUMC. More recently, Stefani served at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano where she was the Director of Youth Ministries for 6 years and then the Pastor of Modern Worship for 3 years. She is blessed to be the pastor of Faith UMC - a congregation that is doing incredible ministry as they continue to share the love of Christ with the world.

Stefani is passionate about creating authentic worship experiences that speak to how Jesus is working in the world and that challenge congregations to be true to who God has called them to be. She places a high emphasis on mission ministries and feels refueled when she is serving others. Stefani also has an affinity for the polity and connectionalism of the UMC.

Stefani enjoys indoor cycling and reading fiction. Her favorite TV show is Ted Lasso and her favorite book is A Wrinkle in Time. Stefani and her spouse, Jake, have 2 children, Miles (toddler) and Zoey (infant), and a cat named Eleven. In their spare time, they can be found visiting family, cheering on the Texas Rangers, or hosting a game night with friends.
