Sometimes, our bodies have a way of telling us when it’s time to rest. It’s not my favorite way to recharge, but being stuck inside your house for days at a time has a way of doing that! Last week was one of those weeks for me — I had the chance to recharge even though I didn’t know that I needed it. I’m so grateful that our incredible staff jumps in so that I can be well. Thank you Chad, Jeni, Jen, Vince, and Kayla, and to all our volunteers who held down the fort last week. #grateful
This week, I hope you’ve taken time to be intentionally grateful for the things that you have going on in your life — for opportunities to love and serve, for family (by birth or by choice), for shelter and warm clothes, and for time set aside to rest and play. This life we live is so messy and full, and taking the time to be grateful really does have implications for our lives and our faith.
Want to know more about how? Come to worship on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. as we learn together. Hope you’ll take the time to join us!
Your pastor and friend in Christ,
Jenna
